OCLT have been in discussion with the Sustainable Building Performance and Design (SBPD) course at Oxford Brookes to try to communicate the environmental design qualities of the housing cooperative.
Dean Court Housing Needs Survey
Mon, 2012-10-08 15:57 | by jockAs part of the work to build community support for our Eynsham Rd project, and also hopefully to find some people with a local connection who will want to live in the housing we produce, we are just about to embark on a formal "Housing Needs Survey" in the Dean Court area.

Community Led Homes

Having now secured the option on the site we are now starting to plan. We are seeking funding for design and planning and hope to secure this within the next few months. We see this as a community led housing project and want to involve those local to the site in making it happen. When it comes to letting the homes, we will also give preference to those with local connections (but they must be on Vale’s housing register).
Eynsham Road

Our first project is on the way thanks to the intervention of a local Quaker woman. She alerted us to the fact that a small site was available near her house just off Eynsham Road.
Working with Stonesfield Community Trust we have raised the money to secure the land. We have so far managed to raise £162.5K and need to raise a further £27.5K be the end of 2011. If you’d like to donate or invest in this very worthwhile venture, please click here.
